Processes

Manufacturing Process

Our ‘Concept-to Delivery’ approach ensures top-quality products through advanced CNC, fabrication, powder paint coating, and testing facilities, including advanced test facilities capable of testing of DG sets at 50 deg. C ambient.
Sheet Metal Processing
01
Sheet Metal Processing

Various components are made out of CRCA/HRSPO steel with upto 4 mm thicknesses and are processed on state-of-the-art AMADA CNC punching and bending machines.

Light Fabrication
02
Light Fabrication

Different sub-assemblies are produced using calibrated and reliable GMAW welding methods. These operations are performed by highly skilled qualified welders using appropriate fixtures on spatter-proof workstation.

Heavy Fabrication
03
Heavy Fabrication

Structural steel grades are used for manufacturing base frames, container structures and other load-bearing members of the DG set. The operation sequence begins with marking, cutting to electric arc welding of sub-parts into the final product.

Busbar processing
04
Busbar processing

Copper or aluminium busbars are manufactured using customised machines like cutting, punching, bending etc.

Shot blasting
05
Shot blasting

Every structural product goes through this operation which uses steel shots bombarded on the metal surface in an enclosed shot blasting booth. The finish quality meets SA2.5 specs.

Liquid Painting
06
Liquid Painting

The operation uses liquid paint spray in dedicated paint booths to coat fabricated structures ( Base frames, Containers, structural members, etc.) with DFTs ranging from 60 minimum to + 300.

Metallizing
07
Metallizing

This is a very special process which ensures the product is corrosion-free in extreme environmental conditions. A separate 50-feet booth is designated for it which enhances our painting capabilities to deliver C5M coated products.

14 Tank Pre-treatment
08
14 Tank Pre-treatment

This is a non-negotiable prerequisite for high-quality painting of sheet metal parts. The elaborative 14-step process ensures excellent surface cleaning followed by a 6-8 Iron phosphate primary coating on the metal surface.

Powder coating
09
Powder coating

An advanced and fully automated conveyorized paint booth ensures uniform paint thickness is achieved on the component. The process is completed after it passes through a baking oven for a predefined and validated time.

Insulation
10
Insulation

Different sound attenuation materials like foam, rockwool, etc, of varying densities and thicknesses are used as insulation material.

Testing
11
Testing

Every DG set undergoes testing per a defined ‘Quality Test Script’ in dedicated cells with resistive load banks (up to 4000 kVA), inductive load banks (up to 4000 kVA equiv.), and capacitive load banks (up to 3000 kVar). Testing includes raising ambient temperature to 50°C.

Customised Solutions

Design Engineering

With mastery in design engineering and thoughtfulness in problem-solving, our team of expert engineers design our unique products as per the customer’s technical and performance requirements. Using various software like AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD (Electrical), STAAD, CFD analysis, etc, the engineering team works relentlessly to design high-quality unique, and reliable products.
Quality Certifications

Safety Standards

We adhere to global quality standards like ISO, AS/NZ, IEC, IEEE & BS Standard Every genset packing includes AVMs complying with global seismic norms as per AS/NZ/ISO.
Sustainable Initiatives

Making a Difference

Energy Conservation

We implemented a project between 2018 and 2020 that replaced over 600 conventional lights with LEDs. This initiative resulted in a significant 77% reduction in our monthly connected load

Water Consumption

We have taken steps to improve water conservation by establishing rainwater harvesting systems, installing auto-shutoff taps and utilising intelligent volume disposal systems to control water discharges.

Pollution Control & Prevention Measures

Our operations fully comply with Consent to Operate regulations set by the Pollution Control Committee. We also treat wastewater (20 KLD capacity ETP) and use paper filters in paint booths.

Solar Panels

Our 72kWp solar system has reduced energy consumption by 124,000 units annually, making a significant contribution to our sustainability effort.

Waste Management

We efficiently segregate hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials and direct their disposal through waste management companies.
