Area Of Responsibility:-

  • Manage Sales & Business Development (BD) for Pan India regions
  • Functionally report to the Head of Sales & Operations for all regions at Sterling Generators Pvt Ltd
  • Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan for new and existing key accounts
  • Monitor, control, and achieve sales revenue against budgeted targets
  • Seek product approval with clients and consultants
  • Ensure customer-required data and opportunity details are managed in line with company procedures
  • Review sales forecasts and management information on a monthly basis
  • Prepare Territory Sales Plans (TSP) for assigned accounts in line with company procedures
  • Proactively generate customer inquiries, negotiate contracts, and secure orders
  • Monitor and analyze key accounts-related legislation to anticipate potential impacts
  • Conduct presentations of new products to existing and potential customers at events
  • Ensure orders are secured in compliance with agreed credit-approved terms
  • Commit to operational excellence activities
  • Develop new and maintain existing key customers to grow revenue by providing new applications or enhancing ongoing projects

Desired Skills & Competencies: -

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Graduate in Science/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
  • Minimum 10-20 years of experience in Sales, Channel Partnering, and Business Development
  • Prior experience in the generator business is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to ensure delivery and compliance with business strategy.
