Application
Area Of Responsibility:-
Manage Sales & Business Development (BD) for Pan India regions
Functionally report to the Head of Sales & Operations for all regions at Sterling Generators Pvt Ltd
Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan for new and existing key accounts
Monitor, control, and achieve sales revenue against budgeted targets
Seek product approval with clients and consultants
Ensure customer-required data and opportunity details are managed in line with company procedures
Review sales forecasts and management information on a monthly basis
Prepare Territory Sales Plans (TSP) for assigned accounts in line with company procedures
Proactively generate customer inquiries, negotiate contracts, and secure orders
Monitor and analyze key accounts-related legislation to anticipate potential impacts
Conduct presentations of new products to existing and potential customers at events
Ensure orders are secured in compliance with agreed credit-approved terms
Commit to operational excellence activities
Develop new and maintain existing key customers to grow revenue by providing new applications or enhancing ongoing projects
Desired Skills & Competencies: -
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Graduate in Science/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
Minimum 10-20 years of experience in Sales, Channel Partnering, and Business Development
Prior experience in the generator business is preferred
Ability to work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to ensure delivery and compliance with business strategy.
